Hammersbach Consulting Ltd (HCL) was founded with the aim of enabling businesses to maximise the benefits of their claims service through cost control and process improvement. Claims costs can directly impact a business’ bottom line and effective control of these costs can free up valuable cashflow and drive profitability.
At HCL we do not manage, handle or assist in the preparation of claims, we focus on the pre and post loss claims process and work with our clients to manage the performance of their own claims teams or their claims service providers.
HCL leverages it’s wide network and Associate business model to ensure that our clients receive a ‘best in front’ service, meaning that we can help you engage with experts who truly understand the challenges you face and are perfectly positioned to support you.
Our Principal, James Tye, has 30 year’s experience in the insurance industry and brings a wealth of claims expertise to HCL. Having spent 20 years at Marsh Ltd, one of the world’s largest brokers, James has worked with a diverse client base from SMEs to some of the most notable FTSE 250 global businesses.
James has developed an extensive practical knowledge, working with clients with large self-insured retentions, those who operate in-house claims handling teams and/or work with Third Party Administrators or are conventionally insured. He has a specific expertise in risk analysis and the development of bespoke claims programmes for clients.
In addition, James has held a number of leadership roles within business and membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and Institute of the Motor Industry.
